Social Justice Sub-Committee

he primary responsibilities of the Social Justice sub-committee are to provide education on Social Justice issues and to provide opportunities to put our Roman Catholic faith into action.  Past events have included:  Faithful Citizenship Forum, Movie-with-a-Moral Night, and Stewardship of the Earth (in partnership with the West Virginia Interfaith Global Climate Change Campaign).

Another activity of the Social Justice sub-committee is active participation in Social Concern Notes a monthly publication of the Monongalia County Catholic Community.  This publication takes the form of a bulletin insert and appears in the bulletins of the four Catholic parishes of the county.
